The plans for the new development, tentatively known as The Ridge at Table Rock Lake, include homes and space for businesses and healthcare facilities. In 2018, plans were released for a similar development to what would have been Indian Ridge Resort. Some of the homes have been torn down, and an entrance to the development had already been constructed. What would follow would land people in jail for bank fraud and would leave Indian Ridge Resort abandoned. Some homes were built on the land near Table Rock Lake, but construction quickly stopped when the recession arrived. Indian Ridge Resort would include a hotel, shops, a conference center, a water park, homes, and condos, the latter of which was designed to be vacation homes. Plans for the resort were grand and, if followed, would cost more than $1.5 billion. Near Table Rock Lake in Branson, Indian Ridge Resort held huge promise when its construction was announced in 2006.
